While a 'chargeback' usually refers to a refund that a debit or credit card holder can request from their bank, on Freecash a 'chargeback' is effectively a penalty for completing offers fraudulently.
If you complete one of our offers, or a partner offer, and you are suspected of fraud, the reward that was sent to you will be deducted from your account balance. These chargebacks can be issued up to 90 days after an offer has been credited.
Here are some example of behavior that can be deemed to be fraudulent, and will therefore result in a chargeback:
- Attempting to do an offer multiple times on one account.
- Using multiple accounts to complete offers or surveys multiple times.
- Completing offers via VPN, proxy or VPS.
- Providing incorrect information about the account holder.
But don't panic. You will not be banned for receiving a chargeback. However, if your overall rate of completed offers that result in chargeback exceeds 10%, we will
not be able to issue rewards
