Being a Netflix Tagger, or more so known as an Editorial Content Analyst, Is a cool and rewarding way to get paid to watch Netflix. Basically the job description is you will watch Netflix tv shows and movies, and determine what genre they belong to. From there, you will organize all of their shows and movies based on this analysis.

While it is not super popular, it is one of the most direct ways you can get paid to watch Netflix. You would work with Netflix, and from what many experienced Taggers have said from my research, the pay can range well from $80-$200k depending on the project and your experience.

As a tagger, you will be responsible for analyzing, labeling, and categorizing movies and TV shows on Netflix. Your work will enhance the user experience and improve Netflix's recommendations for millions of viewers worldwide.

To excel as a Netflix tagger, you will need to have a few years of experience already as a content analyst. While Netflix is a great company to work for, they do sometimes require you to have a lot of qualifications that can take years to achieve. A few basic qualifications would be:

  • A deep understanding and passion for various genres, films, and TV shows.
  • Your attention to detail should be exceptional, allowing you to identify and assign relevant tags accurately.
  • Strong analytical abilities are also essential to help improve content categorization algorithms.

If becoming a Netflix tagger seems like the perfect job for you, simply go to the Netflix Jobs website and search for the "Content Analyst" position.

As a Netflix tagger, you can expect to earn around $25-$30 per hour, with the potential for growth as you gain more experience.

Participate in Paid Netflix Surveys ($5-$10 Per Gig)

Binge-watching Netflix is not a career, however, there are multiple platforms that you can earn money from while watching your favorite shows. For example, reward platforms, such as Freecash, will make you money from completing surveys or downloading games while all you need to do is sign-up.

Keep in mind not all, if any, survey could be related to you watching Netflix, but I think it could be a higher earning alternative while also completing tasks much faster than watching shows for hours.

Answering these research panels and providing companies data through surveys is very important for their growth in campaigns or a potential product. There are other reward platforms to choose from like SurveyJunkie, but if you want to maximize your earnings even more, Freecash offers multiple cashout options including gift cards like Visa and Amazon.

To start earning, you need to follow to rather basic sign-up structure. It does not take long, however, finding your favorite offers on reward platforms can take a while.

  1. 1 Sign-Up providing basic information
  2. 2 Locate your favorite offers (Netflix offers)
  3. 3 Start Netflix through their supported app
  4. 4 Start earning

You can spend your time watching Netflix or reviewing your favorite shows by sharing viewing data, participating in market research panels, or answering their surveys.

You can earn these through surveys and games instantly without the hastle of always trying to find your favorites. I love Freecash for this because I can actually find cool cash opportunities with large companies such as Apple or occasionally Netflix.

Review Netflix Shows and Movies ($5-$50)

Reviewing shows and movies that you watch on Netflix is a legitimate way to earn money by watching Netflix. To get started in any of these reviewing jobs, you must first pick one to hyperfocus on. From here, sharpen your writing, communication skills, and of course, your knowledge of Netflix TV shows.

Reviewing Netflix Shows through Podcast

There are tons of jobs that you can explore that involve reviewing movies and shows. A few of the most popular jobs you can get involved with would be content writing, podcasting, blogging, or even owning a Youtube channel.

Netflix Content Writing ($5-50 per article)

The easiest job that requires less money and less time would be being a freelance content writer. I have been a content writer for years, and found hundreds of Netflix review gigs through freelance platforms.

Many of these jobs pay you from $5 to $50 per article. Depending on your experience and the time you can dedicate to writing, you have unlimited earning potential! You can write reviews on your favorite shows as a freelancer or employed through larger publisher companies like ScreenRant or even TVFanatic.

To get started, just go to a popular freelance website like Upwork or Fiverr.

Run a Netflix Podcast ($5-10 per listener)

Podcasts are a great way to review your favorite shows, and maybe even invite producers/actors to your podcast to further explore these shows/films. To get started making a Netflix podcast, you need to have already some proper recording gear which can bring higher value to your recordings.

Being a Netflix podcaster bring on a few great benefits though, as you can:

  • Interview famous directors or actors to receive valuable insights and gain higher viewership.
  • Earn passively as listeners play your podcasts through music/podcast platforms like Spotify.
  • Record part time so you can still work a full time which can double your income potential.

To really excel in this area, not only is equipment important, but I have found many successful podcasters who make thousands every week, also post on social media, Youtube, and maybe even a blog. So if you wan to take this seriously, be sure to consider some extra ways to reach larger audiences.

A couple successful podcasters who I found that review Netflix films and series would be Reality Alert or What to Watch.

Create a Netflix Youtube Channel ($5-$50 per video)

YouTube channels that review shows are extremely popular, especially for Netflix shows. You can go into deep thoughts on favorite characters, plots, or even design. Netflix Youtube channels are rare to find which can optimize your visibility potential to bring in more viewers and higher payouts. Just keep in mind that you need to stay very consistent, posting daily, keeping to the same niche, and possibly hosting live sessions.

If you are succesful, you can easily get paid out from $5-$50 per video. You could also create a subscription and donations option for your viewers to pay a little extra for your efforts.

A few good references of some great Youtube channels would be Alex Meyers who covers quite literally any show into full depth, or maybe even The Thrifty Typewriter who creates what he more calls it "Movie Essays".

Closed captioning, by definition, is when you put a video into words so people can better understand. It can be either translation, or for people who cannot hear well. This job is rather high in demand as TV shows are constantly being released for multiple translation and caption requests.

To qualify for a closed captioning position, particularly for Netflix, you need to have the following skills and set up.
