Music channels on YouTube are an easy way to get paid. You simply upload your favorite music with an image and watch the views stack up. There are millions of users listening to Youtube rather than Spotify or Apple Music because it's free, but you could get paid for just getting the views. 

For example, the original composer of Doom: Eternal playlist did not release his music on Spotify nor on Youtube officially. However, very small Youtube channels gathered together their favorite tracks from the game, and created Doom playlists.

Because the game has such a large fan base, one Youtuber, Lynfinity Music now got 600,000+ views from simply one Doom video.

On freelancer platforms, there are tons of small gigs that pay you up to $10 an hour or task for simply listening to music. Finding these gigs is super easy too, you just need to search them up once you have a solid profile on either Upwork or Fiverr.

While this may seem crazy, I have seen many artists go to platforms like this to ask for listeners to their music to boost their listener base. It might be cheating, but it is a way for them to reach a bigger audience, and for you to get paid. 

These gigs are easy to apply for as well, as most of them do not require you to have any kind of background in music or other skills. Simply apply and show interest, and usually they will give you the gig asap.

Listen to Radio Apps that Pay ($5-$10 Per Month)

There are some Radio Apps like RadioEarn that pay you to listen to the radio! While this does not sound maybe as cool as making money by rating music and making a playlist, it takes very little effort.  

The pay is around $10 per month if you play all three of their radio stations at once and make sure it runs all day. While it is really not that great, it's still extra gas or beer money for the month, plus you quite literally do nothing. Just hit play, and you start earning!
