If you withdraw Bitcoin from Freecash to a crypto address or Stake account owned by someone else, we cannot recoup the funds and offer you a refund. If you enter an invalid address or username, however, the transaction will be automatically cancelled, and the funds will be returned to your Freecash account.

Withdrawing Bitcoin Directly from Freecash

  • If you enter an invalid or incorrectly formatted Bitcoin address, the transaction will fail, and your funds will be returned.
  • If you enter a valid address that you do not control, the transaction is final, and the funds cannot be recovered.

Withdrawing Bitcoin via Stake

The same rules apply when withdrawing Bitcoin to a Stake account.

  • If you enter an invalid Stake username, the transaction won’t be processed, and your funds will be returned.
  • If you enter a valid Stake username that belongs to someone else, we cannot retrieve the funds and therefore cannot offer a refund.
