It's been a long time since we could rely on free trials, now we sadly need to pay for new subscriptions. Or do we?
If you don't have the money for Disney Plus, the fastest way to get an account is by completing paid tasks online. These tasks normally involve testing new games and answering surveys, and they pay enough that it should only take a couple of hours to afford the subscription.
To maximize your funds, wait for a promo to buy Disney Plus, and if it applies to you, use the veterans discount.
Earning Disney Plus by completing tasks online
There are hundreds of sites that will pay you to complete small tasks online, in exchange for gift cards or even cash via PayPal or bank transfer. These tasks range from completing surveys to trying new games as a player tester, and the better platforms will pay enough for you to afford Disney Plus in just a few hours.
For instance, on Freecash, where the average user earns $35 daily and top users make it to $5000 each month, you can afford Disney Plus in an afternoon:
-
1
Log in with Google or Facebook.
-
2
Choose the tasks that interest you, I recommend gaming offers (which normally involve reaching a certain level).
-
3
Complete the tasks and earn funds, you will need to make at least $5 to withdraw.
-
4
Cash out via PayPal or bank transfer and get Disney Plus!
By using a site like Freecash you can get a Disney Plus subscription in just a few hours without spending a cent. And unlike a job, you can start right now, without having to go through an interview process. All you need is a phone and a bit of time.
Disney Plus has promo events for new customers every few months, for instance just last month they were offering 72% off the Disney and Hulu Basic Bundle (the with-ads version). They also have offers on Premium as well as Basic, and other bundles.
I would personally recommend waiting for a promo to buy your subscription, if you can, because the deals are very generous. You can check for new sign-up offers at any time, simply visit the Disney Plus homepage when you are logged out.
The veterans discount
While there's no senior or student discount for Disney Plus, but there is a discount for veterans. Disney Plus offers a military discount through The Exchange, allowing U.S. service members, veterans, and their families to get 25% off the annual subscription price.
Once bought, try to cancel your subscription
When you try to cancel your Disney Plus subscription, you will probably be offered an even cheaper price for six months as an incentive to stay. This depends on your region, but it has worked for me multiple times.
I would therefore suggest that once you have Disney Plus, you immediately try and cancel the contract to see if they will offer an even better deal.
To start the cancellation process:
-
1
Sign into your Disney Plus account.
-
2
Go to your Profile by clicking your avatar in the top-right.
-
3
Navigate to Account > Subscriptions, and select your Disney Plus subscription.
-
4
Select 'Cancel Subscription'.
-
5
You will be asked to provide a reason. Fill out the forms as if you are really going to cancel, until you reach a page that looks like this:
You might not get an offer like this, but it usually works.
Make sure to stop the cancellation process when you get to a page with a red 'Complete Cancellation' button. This is the final page, if you have not seen an offer before getting to this page, you are out of luck.
