The Freecash home-screen widget puts your daily streak right on your phone’s home screen, so you can see your progress at a glance and open Freecash in a single tap.

How to Get the Streak Widget
Adding the widget is a one-time quest. Complete it, and you’ll earn $0.10, credited straight to your Freecash balance.
You’ll find the quest in your Rewards tab, under Quests. You may also see an in-app popup inviting you to add the widget right after you complete your daily streak.
Availability:
- iOS: available now.
- Android: rolling out — currently live in the UK and Canada, and requires the latest version of the Freecash Android app.
If you don’t see the widget quest yet, update the Freecash app to the latest version and check again.
How to Add the Widget to Your Home Screen
Once you’ve found the quest, add the widget using the steps for your device. You’ll also get a short in-app video walking you through it, and the quest completes once the widget is actually on your home screen.
On iOS
- Touch and hold an empty area of your home screen until the icons jiggle.
- Tap the Edit button in the top-right corner.
- Search for Freecash.
- Select the widget size you want to add to your home screen.
On Android
- Touch and hold an empty area of your home screen.
- Tap Widgets.
- Search for Freecash.
- Select the widget size you want to add to your home screen.
FAQs
I Added the Widget but Didn’t Get the Reward
The reward is credited through the quest, so first make sure every step is complete — the widget has to actually be on your home screen to count. On Android, update to the latest app version; an earlier reward-crediting issue was fixed in a recent update. If the quest still shows as incomplete once the widget is placed, open a support ticket.
The Widget Isn’t Showing My Current Streak
This is a known issue the team is working on. Open the Freecash app to refresh your streak, then check the widget again.
The Quest Still Shows After I Claimed It
A small number of users see the quest remain after claiming. Your reward should still have been credited, so check your balance first. If it hasn’t arrived, open a support ticket.
