Freecash is always finding new ways to make earning rewards more exciting. The latest feature, Lottery Heists, adds a competitive social layer to the platform.
This guide covers how to attack other players, steal lottery tickets, and defend your own stash.
What Are Lottery Heists?
Lottery Heists are a social game within Freecash. You use attacks to steal a portion of lottery tickets from other users, giving you more chances to win in the weekly prize draws.
Other players can attack you, too. Earn and use shields to protect your ticket balance.
How to Earn Heist Attacks
You need attacks to initiate a heist. There are two ways to earn them:
- Complete your daily streak. Maintaining your activity streak rewards you with one heist attack each day.
- Complete offers. You receive one heist attack for every € 4,35 you earn by completing offers on Freecash.
Attacks accumulate, so you can save them up for a bigger heist. Keeping up with offers is the best way to prepare. Learn how to earn money on Freecash with our detailed guide.
Performing a Heist With the Card Minigame
When you start a heist, you play a card minigame. You are presented with a grid of 12 hidden cards.
Flip cards until you find a matching set of three. There are three types of matches:
- Small: Steals tickets equal to 2% of your own ticket earnings from the past seven days.
- Medium: Steals tickets equal to 3% of your own ticket earnings from the past seven days.
- Large: Steals tickets equal to 6% of your own ticket earnings from the past seven days.
The tickets you steal are based on your own activity, rewarding active users. The more you earn through playing games and completing offers, the more tickets you can gain from a heist.
Defending Your Tickets With Shields
Other players can attack you, so shields are your defense against heists.
You earn one shield for every qualifying activity, such as 30 minutes of gameplay. You can hold a maximum of three shields at any time.
If you are attacked while you have a shield, the attack is blocked, and you lose no tickets. Shields expire over time, so staying active is the best way to keep your defenses up.
What Happens When You Get Attacked
When another user targets you for a heist, one of two things will happen.
- If you have a shield, it will block the attack automatically. You will receive a notification, but your ticket balance stays safe.
- If you have no shield, you will lose a small percentage of your total tickets. The loss starts at 1% and increases to 2% and then 3% for consecutive undefended attacks. Earning a shield resets this escalation.
The tickets an attacker steals, and the tickets a defender loses, are calculated independently. It is not a direct transfer between balances, keeping the system fair for everyone.
Lottery Heists add a strategic layer to earning on Freecash. Balance your attacks with earning shields to maximize your ticket count heading into the weekly lottery draws.
