When I was a teen, I was constantly looking for ways to make money online. The best two options I found were paid gaming offers and paid surveys. Here are the ten best survey sites I found that can still be used by under 18s. 

Freecash

Freecash has the highest-paying offers, the highest Trustpilot score, and they provide an estimate for how long each survey will take before starting. They are a clear favorite, with average users earning $35 daily, and top earners racing up the leaderboard to make $5k each month. 

And the best part for teens, you can use Freecash at 16 without parental permission. You will have to choose a withdrawal option that can be used by under 18s, like gift cards, but that's the same on every paid survey site. 

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is one of the oldest paid survey sites on the list, and they have a huge library of offers to pick from. You can also use the site at only 13 with parental permission. 

While Swagbucks is a reliable and trustworthy site, they do offer fairly low pay rates for surveys compared to other platforms. 

Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys require you to be at least 17, which is definitely on the older side, but they are great in other areas. The app is easy to use, they offer a low minimum payout, and they have a wide range of surveys to pick from.

This is great if you get lucky, and they send 5-minute surveys, but on the flip side, you can get stung by far longer surveys. 

LifePoints

LifePoints is a decent choice for teens over 16 as they have a solid app and a lot of surveys that younger users can qualify for. However, they are notorious for having slow payouts and for banning users who claim to be innocent, so I have to place them slightly lower in the list. 

Toluna 

Toluna is a 16+ site with fairly good earning rates. I have also had positive experiences with their support team, so I feel confident saying they are trustworthy, but I personally would use a site from higher on the list. 

They give you no indication of how long a survey will take before you start, they don't have as wide of a library of surveys, and their minimum withdrawal is expensive at $10. 

ySense

ySense are fairly average in most ways, like with their earning rates and their selection of surveys, but they have a high minimum withdrawal at $10 and slow payouts. Annoyingly, they also seem to disqualify me from more surveys than most sites. 

 

Idle-Empire

Idle-Empire is a fantastic site for completing paid tasks like surveys, but they are a lot more focused on gaming and crypto. As a result, they have one of the smallest libraries of surveys, and are better used for paid gaming offers. 

YouGov

YouGov is one of the most "legit" options on the list, and have been around for a long time, providing teens with a great way to make money online. I only rate them so low because their minimum withdrawal rate is very high at $15, and it's even higher in other regions around the world. 

 

SurveySavvy

In some ways, SurveySavvy is a good choice for teens as you can use the site from 13 with parental permission, and you can cash out from as little as $1. But there are serious issues holding SurveySavvy back from being at the top of our paid rankings. 

SurveySavvy offer low rates for the surveys, and they also have a terrible Trustpilot score of only 2.8, with many users reporting bad experiences with the support team.
