If you signed up to Freecash with a different email address than the one you use for PayPal, don't worry. You can enter the correct PayPal email address whenever you withdraw funds.

You will always be given the option to enter a new email address of your choice to send PayPal funds to:

Paypal Email Field

Your withdrawal payment will always be sent to the email address you provide here, rather than the email address automatically associated with your Freecash account. Please double-check this field every time you cash out.

I entered the wrong PayPal address, what can I do?

If you have already initiated a withdrawal to the wrong address, there is a process to recover your funds. However, please note that once a withdrawal has started, it cannot be canceled immediately due to limitations set by our payment provider, Tango.

Freecash PayPal menu

If the payment remains unclaimed for 30 days, it will automatically be returned to us. Once returned, we can refund the balance to your Freecash account.

What if I own the email address, but it is not linked to PayPal?

If you sent money to an email address you control that isn't yet linked to your PayPal account, you can simply add that email to your existing PayPal account to claim the funds immediately.

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. In the Email section, select the "+" icon.
  4. Enter the email address you used at cashout and select "Add Email."
  5. Follow the link in the confirmation email sent by PayPal.

What if I entered an email address owned by someone else?

Unfortunately, we cannot recover funds if you entered an incorrect email address and the owner of that address claims the payment. Always verify the recipient's email address before confirming your withdrawal to ensure your funds arrive safely.
