On August 14, 2025, MrBeast launched a stream that could not end until $5,000,000.00 was raised for TeamWater, Donaldson's August fundraiser in support of WaterAid. The charity's total target is $40,000,000.00, so the stream, if successful, would make a significant contribution.
xQc and Adin Ross joined MrBeast for the event. While watching, you can earn money by gaming alongside the stream.

Twitch is the dominant streaming platform, with an estimated 240 million active users compared to Kick's 57 million. Despite the size gap, Kick owner Ed Craven pledged $2,000,000.00 of his own money to donate if MrBeast streamed on the platform.
Kick also carries less creator friction than Twitch. Since Amazon acquired Twitch, complaints have grown over low payouts, revenue split terms, and copyright enforcement. Kick has positioned itself as an alternative by offering large upfront deals to attract established streamers.
MrBeast's first Kick stream drew wide coverage.
