You can create an account and begin earning immediately with Freecash, but to withdraw any funds, you will need to verify your ID. The verification process requires you to take a photo of yourself.
We understand that some users feel uncomfortable taking a photo of themselves to verify their ID. However, our partners at Veriff require a photo, and do not currently offer any alternative verification methods.
Please rest assured, our partners at Veriff handle all personal data securely, and they delete or anonymize any data they no longer need. Per the Veriff Privacy Notice (§3 ¶5),
We store Personal Data only for as long as the retention of data is required by law, a contract or is necessary for the provision or development of our Services or required for protecting us against legal claims. At the end of the retention period, we shall permanently erase the Personal Data or anonymize it.
If we are ever able to verify the ID of users without requiring photo or video evidence, we will update this article.
