Veriff was founded in 2015 and is known around the world as the market leaders in secure verification technology. They use AI to automate the process, making it quicker for users (usually under three minutes), and are now used by hundreds of major companies, from Roblox to Trustpilot.

Is Veriff Safe?

Yes, Veriff is a safe platform, where your personal data is encrypted and stored in compliance with GDPR and CCPA data retention policies. The data is kept only for as long as it is required by law, a contract or for the provision of their services. And at the end of the retention period, the data is either permanently erased or anonymized.

They do not sell your data to anyone else, and only share it with us (Freecash) and vetted sub-processors who work for them. If at any time you would like them to delete your personal data, you can contact their privacy team.

Why does Veriff need access to my camera and microphone?

To verify your identity, you'll need to use your device's camera to capture photos of your identification document and a selfie. These photos are essential for the verification process.

In some cases, we may also require access to your camera and microphone to record a short video and audio session. This additional security measure helps us confirm your presence during the verification process and prevent fraud.
