Here is how to make a Stash account... 

1. Download the Stash app 

Download the Stash app, which is available for both iOS or Android for free. 

2. Create an account 

Open the Stash app, provide an email and password, and press 'Create account'.

3. Verify Your Identity

To create a Stash account, you will need to verify your ID by providing the following details:

  • Legal first and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Citizenship status
  • Residential address
  • Social Security number

Enter the details and press 'Continue'.

4. Choose your subscription plan

Choose a subscription plan, between Growth ($3/month) or Stash+ ($9/month). With either plan, you get a free 7-day trial.

5. Accept the Advisory Agreement 

After choosing your plan, you will need to read and agree to the Advisory Agreement. It outlines the terms and conditions under which Stash Investments LLC provides financial counseling, detailing client responsibilities, account options, fees, and legal obligations, including an arbitration clause.

6. Choose whether you want Stash to invest your funds

Select whether you want the app to automatically invest funds for you, or whether you want to manually invest on your own.

Accept the Stash Account Agreement

The final step is to confirm the Account Agreement, which covers use of Stash’s platform, your account responsibilities, usage restrictions, subscription terms, dispute resolution, and so on.

Congratulations, you can now begin withdrawing Freecash funds to your new Stash account
