3 Reliable Ways to Earn Membership in Old School Runescape

There are many money-making methods in-game that could help contribute to you earning a membership in Old School Runescape. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, I have found some easy tasks to help that earn you up to 150,000 GP per hour.

This is quite a grind, as every two weeks, you will be splurging 8 million GP just for the membership. While this works, you may not want to spend all of that hard work and grind time on paying for the membership. Let me break down each task so maybe you can find what works easier for you.

Fill Empty Jugs

Filling empty jugs has absolutely zero requirements. Jugs are dirt cheap, and filling them with water will yield great profit. Water Jugs are also used for jugs of wine, which contributes to your training in cooking. 

You will need to go to Draynor Village to purchase as many packs of empty jugs as you can. You can also buy these at other stores, but this one is rather easy to get to. You can either hop worlds or wait for them to restock. 

After you have your packs, open them at Validor Bank and fill them up at the water source next to the Hair Salon. 

Make Pie Shells

Similar to water jugs, making pie shells has no power requirements. You will need to pass by the Grand Exchange and buy:

Grab nine bowls and nine pots, use them on one another, and select the second option: pastry dough. Then, grab 14 pieces of pastry dough along with 14 pie dishes, and you will get pie shells, which sell for a very nice price (445 coins). 

Collect Red Spider Eggs

To collect red spider eggs, I would recommend you have at least level 25 magic for the teleport of a rock spell, as well as a weapon that cuts through webs easily. You can use items like a scimitar, long sword, or even just a dagger.

To collect the eggs, there are a few instructions to follow. 

This might take a bit longer because run energy depletes really fast in free worlds but this is still a great profit opportunity. 

Collect Wines of Zamorak

Similar to red spider eggs, the Zamorak wine telegraph method requires a magic power of at least 37 (recommended level 43) to be used. While this action rather explains itself, if you are playing at peak hours, you might have a hard time finding worlds where wine is available. 

Try to avoid times later in the day, and you can acquire quite a decent amount of GP. 

High Alch Armor and Weapons

For one of the higher leveled options, you will need at least level 55 magic in order to cast the high alchemy spell. Go to the website Alchmate to find all of the free-to-play items, then select the column that says difference. The difference will show you how much profit you will be able to make per item once they are high alch.

While they may not make a ton of profit individually at first, they will add up over time.

Killing Ogresses

If you are into combat farming, killing Ogresses is one of the higher money-making options. These enemies are seen closer towards the end of the game when you have already reached level 55 magic. This has the potential to be one of the highest GP-earning opportunities per hour disparity because of your melee or range levels.

Pizza Bases or Cooking

This is more focused on your skills, and leveling up your cooking skills is a great way to earn GP.  Using four items in specific such as:

You will need bowls of water and pots of flower to make pizza bases; however, for the fish, I would recommend level 60 for cooking to avoid burning and wasting food, but you are more than welcome to start at a lower level.
