Papaya Solitaire, formerly known as Solitaire Cash, requires you to pay to play - but this isn’t always real money. Gems can be used to enter games either to earn more gems or earn bonus cash, which can then be used to earn real cash. While you can earn gems for free, some methods do require monetary investment, so be careful with how much you put into the game chasing losses. Still, there are plenty of easy ways to earn gems in Papaya Solitaire.
Level Up and Earn Rewards (20+ gems per level)
It’s the simplest option, but playing Papaya Solitaire regularly is a great way to earn free gems. By playing in tournaments, you’ll earn XP and level up, unlocking extra features but also earning gem rewards as you go. It’ll keep things ticking over!
Daily Freebies (20+ gems per day)
Log in and play Papaya Solitaire daily, as there are free rewards to be enjoyed, and multiple ways to get them!
Login Streak
Each time you log in, you’ll get a reward as soon as you open the game. These get better as the week progresses, so don’t miss a day out or you'll be back to square one! You’ll start with a small boost of 20 gems, but this increases as you play more and more.
Daily Gift
Head to the “Shop” tab in the bottom left corner of the screen, and tap the “Daily Gift” icon. It’ll instantly give you a freebie of 20 or more gems without any effort from you.
Hidden Treats and Other Rewards
As you level up, you can earn special prizes within the app, such as Hidden Treats, which hides flowers in the menus as you navigate Papaya Solitaire. By tapping these flowers, you get 10 gems for free.
Add Friends on Papaya Solitaire (Rewards vary)
Inviting friends to play Papaya Solitaire with you can be a great way to earn free gems.
-
Tap the hamburger menu in the top right
-
Select “Gifts”
-
Select “Invite Friends”
-
Add friends with your code and you both get £0.8 in bonus cash
-
This can then be used to earn gems in tournaments
You can also send gems to Facebook friends, and they can return the favour. Crucially, these gems do not come out of your balance, so you can both send each other free gems at no cost! Get a lot of friends, and that’s a lot of gems.
Promo Codes (25+ gems)
There’s nothing like a promo code to boost your gem count. Go back to the Gifts menu and select “Promo Code”, then just paste the code to get an instant gem reward.
Specific rewards vary, but check sites that collate Solitaire Cash/Papaya Solitaire codes to make sure you’re getting the maximum amount possible. Usually, there are at least 200 gems worth of codes available at any given time.
Earn Gems by Winning “Gems Factory” Games (Up to 50 gems per game)
Playing Gems Factory can be a reliable way to slowly earn gems for yourself. If you’re a decent solitaire player, you can get 50 gems or winning. The entry fee is 20, leaving a profit of 30 if you win every time. In fact, coming third out of six gives you that 20 back, so if you’re above average, you’ll always profit or break even.
Of course, this is a slow way to earn gems in Papaya Solitaire, but I found it useful to keep gems coming in as the bigger hauls came from elsewhere.
Social Media Challenges (Gem rewards vary)
Follow Papaya Solitaire’s accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and X. These accounts regularly post mini challenges that allow you to earn rewards for free if you engage with the content they publish.
For example, on Cinco De Mayo, the Papaya Solitaire account asked followers to comment with the Mexican flag emoji, whereas on Mother’s day, followers tagged the mothers in their lives.
Follow them on all three platforms to maximise your chances - in the days after each post they pick a winner and DM them a prize, which often includes a big bucket of free gems.
