In Scopelyโs Scrabble Go, you donโt need to spend Gems to play the classic Scrabble game mode. However, Gems are necessary to enter tournaments, purchase boosters to power-up your score, and buy fancy avatars or tiles to spice up your experience. Good thing thereโs a decent number of ways to get free Gems if you want them!
Level Up and Earn Chests (20+ Gems per chest)
With each level you gain, youโll earn a Gem Chest. Open these to gain extra goodies as you play the game!
You can open chests for completing other actions in-game, so this advice is relevant across the board: you can earn extra rewards from chests by just watching an ad. It isnโt a huge increase, but with a bit of extra time spent per chest, the numbers start to add up swiftly.
Click the button to the lower-right of the chest for the chance to gain extra Gems easily with every single chest you open!
Earn Gems through partner Rewards (5-14,000 Gems per reward)
Thatโs right, there are some rewards thatโll get you over 14k Gems if you use Unity Rewards. Scroll to the bottom of the Shop menu and tap the โFree Gem Offers Availableโ button under the โMore Offersโ heading. This will take you to a page where you can shop and download apps in exchange for potentially huge Gem rewards.
The quests you have to complete range from downloading and leveling up on another game to subscribing to partner companiesโ services. Youโll be able to see the total reward amount at the very start, and be warned: not all of them are free, so keep your eyes out and donโt spend money you werenโt already planning to.
The ones I tend to go for are the small rewards which require viewing a specific video, as itโs very low-commitment. It can also take up to a day for your rewards to appear in your account, so be patient with these ones.
Earn Money Online (150-6,000 Gems per purchase)
By playing Scrabble Go through Freecash, you can earn real money just by playing! This cash can then be used to purchase Gems through the in-game store. Itโs one of the easiest ways to earn free Gems in Scrabble go:

By logging in to Scrabble Go daily, youโll be able to take advantage of a ton of free Gem offers. Make sure you donโt miss any!
Inbox Gifts
Be sure you regularly check your Inbox - thatโs the envelope icon at the top of the screen. Here, youโll receive a gift which changes each day. For Day 1 I got a nice stack of 20 Gems, but this wonโt always be the reward. Arena tickets, customisations for your tiles, and cosmetics are also regularly available.
Video Daily Gift
Go to the Shop screen and find the heading โDaily Chestsโ. Two of these require payment, but youโll be able to earn one single chest for free just by watching a video. It wonโt always give you Gems - sometimes itโll give you XP - but for a free gift, you canโt really go wrong.
Daily Point Chests
You can guarantee rewards here. By playing Scrabble Go and actually scoring points (easier said than done), you can gain rewards of increasing sizes. The second Daily Chest requires you to score 500 points, and itโll contain 12-20 Gems, so by actively playing some good Scrabble, youโll be regularly rewarded with Gems and prizes.
If you turn on app notifications or sync your Facebook or Contacts to Scrabble Go, youโll unlock more Daily Chests as an ongoing reward, too.
