You cannot change the email address associated with your Freecash account once the email address has been verified.
Do not worry if the email address used for your account is different from the one you use for PayPal. You will get the chance to choose the correct email address whenever you make a PayPal withdrawal.
How to check whether your email address is verified
If you have made a withdrawal, you will already be verified, but if not, your email may still be unverified. To check, follow these steps:
- 1 Go to your Freecash Profile, which can be done by clicking on your avatar.
- 2 Press 'Settings' to open up the settings pop-up.
- 3 Your email will be listed here, the symbol to the right of the email address indicates whether it has been verified.
If your email address is verified, you will see a green tick to the right of the address:
If your email address is unverified, you will see a yellow exclamation mark within a yellow triangle to the right of the address:
How to change an email address if unverified
If your email address is unverified, congratulations, you can change it.
- 1 Press the edit button to the right of the address, represented by a pencil symbol.
- 2 Enter the correct email address in the text field.
- 3 Press the 'Save' button.
