Key Takeaways

Screenshot evidence helps us resolve tickets. You can either upload screenshots directly to your ticket or share a link to them on a third-party hosting site.

If available to you, a screen recording is our preferred method and gives your ticket the best chance of a quick resolution.

When you open a support ticket for an offer issue, you'll need to provide screenshot evidence so our team can investigate. Depending on your account, you may be able to upload your screenshots directly in the ticket, or you may need to use a third-party hosting site to share a link.

If you haven't opened a ticket yet, start with our guide on how to create a support ticket.

How to Take a Screenshot

Navigate to the screen you want to capture, then follow the steps for your device.

iOS

  1. Press and release the Side Button and the Volume Up button at the same time.
  2. The screenshot appears as a thumbnail in the bottom-left corner. Tap it to edit, or swipe left to save it directly to your Photos.

Android

  1. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time, then release quickly.
  2. A preview appears on screen. Your screenshot is saved to your gallery.

If those buttons don't work on your device, press and hold the Power button and tap Screenshot from the menu that appears.

Desktop (Windows)

  1. Press the PrtSc key to copy the entire screen to your clipboard.
  2. Open an image editor like Paint and press Ctrl + V to paste, then save the file.

Desktop (Mac)

  1. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 4.
  2. Drag the crosshair to select the area you want to capture.
  3. Release the mouse or trackpad to take the screenshot. It saves to your desktop by default.

Adding Your Screenshot to Your Support Ticket

How you add your screenshot depends on which version of the ticket interface you have.

If You See a Direct Upload Option

  1. Open your support ticket on Freecash.
  2. Click the upload button in the evidence field.
  3. Select your screenshot from your device and wait for the upload to complete.
  4. Submit your ticket.

Your screenshot is stored securely on our end. Our support team can view it directly in your ticket.

If You Don't See a Direct Upload Option

Go to prnt.sc or postimages.org and follow the steps below to host your image and generate a shareable link.

On prnt.sc

  1. Press the Browse Images button and select your screenshot.
  2. Wait for the image to upload, then copy the link provided.

On postimages.org

  1. Leave the first dropdown as Do not resize my image and the second as No expiration.
  2. Press the Choose images button and select your screenshot.
  3. Wait for the image to upload, then copy the link provided.

Once you have your link, paste it into the designated field when creating your ticket. Give your screenshot a descriptive title so our team can review it quickly.

Screen Recordings Are Preferred

Screenshots work well for most tickets, but a screen recording gives our team the clearest picture of your offer progress and is the most likely to result in your account being credited.

It's not required. If a screenshot is all you have, that's fine. But if you're able to record your screen, we strongly encourage it. Find out how to submit a screen recording for support.
