Follow the steps below to withdraw your Freecash earnings to PayPal.
Which system processed your withdrawal?
Almost all withdrawals are now processed through Tremendous. To confirm which system handled yours, go to your Withdrawals tab (Profile > Withdrawals) and locate the transaction.
- Tremendous: The transaction shows an email address and a Transaction ID.
- Tango (legacy): The transaction shows "Tango" as the reference, and the ID begins with "RA".

PayPal via Tremendous
- Head to the Cashout page
- Select PayPal
- Choose the amount
- Enter your PayPal email and tick the confirmation box
- Press the green 'Withdraw' button
- Wait for the processing hold to clear
- Open the email from Tremendous and click 'Redeem'
- Confirm your PayPal address to complete the withdrawal
If this is your first withdrawal on Freecash you will need to go through the verification process. You will be prompted to do this when you press the 'Withdraw' button.
1. Head to the Cashout page
You can find the Cashout page at any time by selecting your current account funds, shown in the top-right corner on desktop and at the top of the page on mobile.
2. Select PayPal
Choose PayPal from the withdrawal options on the Cashout page. It should appear in the 'Most Popular' section.
3. Choose the amount
PayPal withdrawals are available from $5 to $200. Pick the amount you would like to withdraw.
A 5% withdrawal fee applies to all amounts.
4. Enter your PayPal email and tick the confirmation box
Enter the email address linked to your PayPal account in the field below the withdrawal amounts. This does not need to match the email you used to sign up to Freecash.
Tick the confirmation box to confirm you understand the order is non-refundable.
5. Press the green 'Withdraw' button
Press the green 'Withdraw' button to submit your request.
If you have not verified your account, you will be redirected to complete that process at this stage. You will need a government-issued ID and a working camera.
6. Wait for the processing hold to clear
Every Tremendous withdrawal goes through a standard security hold before funds are released. Once it clears, you will receive a "Withdrawal Sent" notification in your Freecash notification bell.
7. Open the email from Tremendous and click 'Redeem'
Once the hold clears, Tremendous will send an email to the PayPal address you entered. The email comes from [email protected] with the subject line "Redeem Freecash PayPal $X USD".
Open the email and click the green 'Redeem' button.
If you cannot find the email, check your spam folder. The Reward ID shown at the bottom of the email can be shared with [email protected] if you need support from Tremendous directly.
8. Confirm your PayPal address
Clicking 'Redeem' will open the Tremendous portal. Confirm your PayPal address to complete the withdrawal.
Congratulations, your PayPal payment is on its way.
PayPal via Tango (Legacy)
A small number of withdrawals are still processed via Tango. If your Withdrawals tab shows "Tango" and a reference beginning with "RA", follow these steps.
- Head to the Cashout page and select PayPal
- Choose the amount, enter your PayPal email, and check the tick boxes
- Press the green 'Withdraw' button
- Wait for emails from Tango and PayPal
- Press 'Claim Your Money' in the PayPal email
- Log in to PayPal to claim the withdrawal
You will receive two emails. The first, from [email protected], confirms the transaction.
The second, from [email protected], will prompt you to claim your funds.
Press 'Claim Your Money' in the PayPal email and you will be directed to this page:
Press 'Claim Money' and log in to PayPal to complete the withdrawal.
