Lottery cases are a new feature on Freecash, and as such, specific details may change as we improve the experience.
How You Earn Cases
For every 150 tickets you earn, you automatically receive a Bronze case. There is no button to claim it — the case simply appears in your inventory.
The 150-ticket threshold is recalculated every Sunday based on the previous week’s average ticket activity, so the exact number can shift up or down over time.
Important: Only tickets earned after the feature unlocks for your account count toward cases. Tickets you earned before the feature became available are still valid for the weekly lottery, but they will not convert into cases.
The 10 Case Tiers
Cases come in ten tiers, from the most common to the rarest:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Amethyst
- Sapphire
- Emerald
- Ruby
- Diamond
- Obsidian
Whenever you collect 3 cases of the same tier, they automatically fuse into 1 case of the next tier up. The ratio is always 3:1, all the way to Obsidian.
Storage Limits
You can hold a maximum of 2 cases per tier at the same time. Obsidian cases are the only exception — there is no limit on how many of them you can keep.
Cases never expire, so you can open them whenever you want.
Opening a Case
Each case has 3 to 4 prize slots, each with its own fixed probability. To open a case, simply tap it in your inventory — you will see a short animation, and the reward is added to your account instantly.
Prize values scale with the tier. Bronze cases can pay out a few cents, while the top slot in an Obsidian case can pay out up to $25,000. Most case openings return tickets (roughly 10% of the case value), so even when you don’t hit a cash slot, you keep progressing toward the next case and the next lottery draw.
Where to Find Lottery Cases
You can open the Cases panel from anywhere on Freecash:
- Tap the ticket balance at the top of the page.
- Or, use the “Lottery Cases” task shown on any Offer Details page.
The first time the feature becomes available for your account, you will see a one-time pop-up introducing Cases.
