Baptiste currently has 16 skins available for purchase using Overwatch Credits. While a few Baptiste skins are unavailable in the current seasonal rotation, here are the best Baptiste skins currently available in Overwatch 2! Keep in mind Overwatch skins don’t offer any competitive advantage and serve a cosmetic role in the game. So, let’s get right into the Ten Best Baptiste skins available in Overwatch 2 right now!
Sadly, the best skin for Baptiste currently in Overwatch 2, the Funky legendary skin, is locked and unavailable for purchase. It’ll probably be available in the shop for purchase sometime in the future, but remember, the purchase window is limited, so you’ll have to check it frequently. It's one of the rare skins in the game and, unfortunately, kind of hard to come across. It's the best Baptiste skin in the game!
This skin pretty much stands out from the rest due to the hip, stylish and funky 60s and 70s aesthetic it pays homage to. To be fair, the skin likely embodies the African American character, Black Dynamite.
Funky is the best legendary skin in Overwatch 2. It’s vibrant and flashy and isn’t afraid of being loud. Baptiste rocks some red shades, a dark red leather jacket with a turquoise ring on his middle finger. The beard and the Afro compliment his overall look, too, and what better way to scream the 70s than a Lava lamp integrated into his back gear? This is a rare skin, but worth the wait and search.
The Wasteland Skin is one of the more interesting skins in today’s lineup. This Epic Skin features Baptiste wearing headgear with the letter E, ready to scavenge the Wasteland. This epic skin for Baptiste features yellow and brown accents across the Biotic launcher, the gauntlets, the mask, the knee, and the shin gear. This skin is pretty much available year-round.
The Epic Skin has a light blue scarf with the words Espoir. The word translates to Hope, which is a nice little addition complimenting his backstory. Wasteland is by far one of the best skins currently available in Overwatch 2.
As for the Biotic Launcher for this Epic Skin, there’s not a lot different from the base launcher except for the same yellow and orange accents, some wear and tear across the body of the launcher, and the words Espoir slapped across the weapon. Wasteland is a crazy divergence from the normal camos and outfits we've seen from Baptiste and would certainly help him fit with the members of the Wasteland.
Customizing Baptiste is all fun and dandy until you realize there’s a lot of money you are going to be spending for a skin. Luckily, FreeCash lets you get gift cards that you can redeem and utilize to get the Baptiste skin you desire!
Showcasing the Talon Skin. This is, by far, the second-best legendary skin in the current cosmetic roster for Baptiste. Baptiste is completely decked out in icy white armor plating in the Talon skin. It's another skin that's available year-round.
The dreads style in one direction and the young face show us his early days as a member of the current Talon organization. He wears a small Talon cape showing his former dedication to the organization. The Talon Skin is indeed another rare skin in today's line-up
His biotic launcher compliments his overall rare skin too. It features some sharp edges, symbolizing talons. The rare launcher features a white and silver construction with red iron sights and accents spread across the entirety of the launcher.
We have a strange bar code and the Talon Emblem near the trigger. Sadly, this rare skin is also unavailable for purchase and might pop up in the Shop in the near future.
While the Legendary skin, Tropical isn’t all the fancy, it shows a simpler side of Baptise wearing some shades, a tropical baby blue-collar shirt, and some shorts. But he’s still decked out in some bamboo, wood-themed knee gear and boots.
His back gear seems fashioned out of a jute basket featuring some healing juice in the midst. To rest back and relax, he’s got a cocktail umbrella and a shaker fastened to his back gear. He isn't skimping out on accessories with a nice round watch on his wrist.
The Biotic launcher features a magazine made of a coconut, and the barrel is made of thick bamboo pieces. Some small leaves hang near the Biotic launcher’s muzzle.
Overall, it’s a nice skin for when you want to lay back and support your team like you’re supposed to. It’s currently available for 1900 Overwatch Credits.
The Legendary skin Spec Ops features Baptiste wearing all-black carbon fiber-plated cybernetic gear. With the Spec Ops Skin, his hairstyle is pretty on point, with his dreads all slicked back, showing that he’s ready for some undercover Overwatch missions. The Spec Ops skin features a few icy blue lighting accents spread across the entirety of his gear.
The scouter or visor for the Spec Ops skin is honestly a nice touch that makes the skin stand out a lot from the rest.
The Biotic launcher has been given the same blacked-out treatment. It features the words Caribbean Coalition etched near the iron sights. The Biotic launcher seems to feature an extended barrel with a reflex grip and a laser attachment, but they serve no real purpose. The Spec Ops Skin is currently available for 1900 Overwatch Credits.
The Epic Camouflage Skin showcases Baptiste in light green gear with foliage scattered around his skin. In camouflage, he’s rocking a scarf made out of leaves. Military-esque face paint adorns his face, along with a small scouter similar to something out of Dragon Ball. Even the armor pieces have leaf textures, supposedly helping you hide and blend in the environment.
The Biotic Launcher of the Camouflage Skin follows the same pattern, with leaves and foliage scattered across the entirety of the weapon. A few leaves hang off near the barrel. It’s an interesting skin, reminiscent of a Vietnam Soldier operating in the jungles and blending in with his environment. The epic skin currently sells for 1000 Overwatch Credits a pop.
We have Baptiste pirate skins on our hands! While not our favorite pirate skin, this Legendary skin, Buccaneer, is the most detailed pirate skin currently available for Baptiste. It's one of the two currently available pirate skins for the character.
The Buccaneer skin is an interesting pirate-themed skin in the game for Baptiste. It showcases Baptise wearing an open red coat, a bionic eye patch, and a headscarf. The Pirate skin's got wooden jumping boots with gold engravings near the shin region. What stands out the most is the shimmering torched rope hanging off his back gear.
A lot of effort went into the Bionic launcher this time. It's got loads of interesting details all around. The Magazine features a golden buckle along with a golden engraved anchor. We have a wooden stock and barrel with some gold pieces embedded in the worn-out wood.
The Launcher also features some funky pipe barrels on the top, symbolizing hand cannons from back in the day. It’s a beautiful skin with loads of detail, and it’s pretty much worth the 1900 Overwatch Points.
The Royal Blue Epic Skin features Baptiste looking all snazzed up for a party or event. He’s wearing some dark shades showcasing his style. The chest piece extends up to the turtle neck-esque collar and features some textile prints with the healing icon and the letter B paying homage to the iconic Louis Vuitton print.
The chest piece features a silver embroidered B in cursive. The same goes for the dark armor plating near the shins and boots, which showcase the very same print.
The Biotic Launcher follows suit with dark plating pieces and blue accents. We can see another cursive B near the iron sights. It’s a skin showcasing Baptiste prepping for a high-profile mission as a combat medic. This skin is available for only 1000 Overwatch Credits.
The Overwatch 2 Skin features some off-white clothing for Baptiste,, along with a dark base layer. We see some dominant turquoise blue armor plating along with sprinkles of dark orange that go pretty well. In contrast to Overwatch 1, Baptiste is now rocking a Mohawk.
The Biotic launcher follows the same pattern with dominant whites and a few sprinkles of turquoise and black. It’s not one of the best skins out there, but it’s free!
The Legendary skin, Snowboarder, features Baptiste decked out in winter gear, ready to carve some snow. He’s got a skateboard with the words Escape near the tail-piece. It’s attached to his back gear, in case you were wondering.
Baptiste seems ready to bomb some hills with his winter jacket, snow boots, ski mask, and beanie. He looks like a default character from a snowboarding game from the mid-2000s. It’s a hard pass on this legendary skin, and it’s definitely not worth 1900 Overwatch Credits.
And that’s pretty much it for the current line-up of the Best Skins for Baptiste in Overwatch 2. Baptiste needs more Overwatch skins, and we might get to see them sometime in the future. But considering the current state of Overwatch transactions, the subpar skins being released for new heroes, and the awful Battlepass rewards, we’ll have to wait and see if Blizzard gives Overwatch the love it needs same goes for Baptiste.
