Privacy Policy for California Residents

Introduction

This Privacy Policy for California Residents supplements the information contained in Almedia's Privacy Policy and applies solely to all visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California ("consumers" or "you"). We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Policy.

Information We Collect

Our Website collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device ("personal information"). Personal information does not include:

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • Deidentified or aggregated consumer information.

Right to Know and Data Portability

Right to Delete

We will deidentify or delete data not subject to an exception and direct service providers to do the same. We do not provide deletion rights for B2B information.

Exercising Your Rights to Know or Delete

To submit a request, please:

Requests must verify your identity and describe your request in detail. You may submit up to two "know" requests in a 12-month period. We will only use data provided to verify your request.

Response Timing and Format

We will acknowledge your request within ten (10) business days and respond substantively within forty-five (45) days. If more time is needed, we will notify you. Responses will cover the 12-month period prior to your request. We do not charge a fee unless a request is excessive or unfounded.

Personal Information Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights

If you are 16 or older, you have the right to opt out of personal information sales at any time. We do not sell information of known minors under 16. To opt out, email [email protected]. Once opted out, you won't be asked again for at least 12 months; you may opt back in at any time.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. We may charge different rates or offer different quality of service only if reasonably related to the value of your data.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy at our discretion. We will post updates and the effective date on our Website. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
