You can ask Freecash to delete your personal data at any time by contacting our Support Team. Freecash is owned by Almedia GmbH, a Germany-based company, so your request is handled under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
There are two ways to submit a request:
- Starting a live chat with a human agent
- Emailing our Support team at [email protected]
Requesting Data Deletion via Chat
To request deletion via chat, you must speak directly with a human agent. Our chatbot can guide you to an agent if you request data deletion, but only human agents can handle your request.
Requesting Data Deletion via Email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.

Will All of My Data Be Deleted?
Not always. Every request is reviewed individually, and we cannot guarantee that all of your data will be erased.
Under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, we are permitted to keep certain data where we have a legitimate interest in doing so — for example, to prevent fraud and to protect the security of the platform. Where that applies, we will let you know that we are unable to fulfill your deletion request.
In that case, your data is blocked rather than deleted: it is no longer actively used, but it is retained in line with our statutory retention rights. We only keep it for as long as we need it to meet our legal rights and obligations and to maintain the integrity of the platform.

How Long Does It Take?
We will respond to your request within 30 days of receiving it, as required by GDPR. Our reply will confirm whether your data has been deleted, or explain why we are blocking and retaining it instead.
Deleting Your Account Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Data
Closing your Freecash account does not automatically erase your personal data — the two are separate requests. If you want to close your account as well, follow the steps in How to Close / Delete Your Freecash Account.
