Top 5 Jobs like Uber Eats that Actually Pay You to Deliver

Uber Eats is a popular way to make money as a side hustle, whether you are a single mom or a student just trying to make extra cash. However if you want to earn over $500 a month and make delivery driving an easy money making side hustle, there are many other jobs like Uber Eats that pays well. 

Rideshare Driving with Lyft ($10-$30/Hour)

If you enjoy driving and speaking with new people, Lyft and other alternatives are a great option. Whether you also choose to use Uber for rideshare driving, both options are great, especially if you love to work a night shift. With rideshare, you earn just a bit more than you would with Uber Eats, around $5 or so extra to be exact. 

I personally really like ridesharing with Lyft, as they offer some of the best rates and offers literally anywhere at any time. They also offer nice bonuses for peak hours, making it even more worth the night-life hustle. 

This job is great for those located closer to the city, or a rather populated town. You can also alternate between different apps to grab the best offers without losing chances for extra cash. You can sign up to Uber, Lyft, or even Bolt to get started. Just keep in mind each app may have different vehicle requirements, such as your cars size, year, and record. 

Deliver Food with Grubhub or DoorDash ($10-$25/Hour)

If you're still into food delivery, I get it. It requires less human interaction, making it a great side hustle for introverts. That being said, there are a few other options that pay well similar to Uber Eats, just know that they may not pay as well during peaks, or offer as many bonuses. 

To make the most out of other food delivery jobs on apps like Grubhub or DoorDash, activating all apps during peak hours can triple your odds in landing the most high paying offers. Depending on your location, this could be an easy way to make money full time. To get a good idea of jus thow much you can make (realistically), most offers can be from $14-$25 per haul, and these are usually good offers. 

If I was to choose between Grubhub or DoorDash, however, I would definitely lean more towards DoorDash, as they are one of the more higher paying delivery apps available (aside form Uber Eats). 

Deliver Packages with Amazon Flex ($18-$25/Hour)

Amazon is in need of drivers globally, with billions of packages in urgency to be delivered. With so many packages and demand for same day deliveries, Amazon found a solution that involves the average joe a nice side hustle; Amazon Flex. This new side gig allows you to deliver Amazon packages using your own car, whenever you like. 

Flexible delivery driving has become one of the newest and most popular ways to make more money. If you don't like delivering food, or want a more streamlined approach to delivery, packages is your next big hit. 

For now, there is rather limited work going around, with competitive offers that are snatched immediately by other drivers. However, if you stay persistent, and have a rather decently sized vehicle readied up, you can make easily $18-$25 in your own time. 

Deliver Groceries with Instacart and Other Apps ($10-$25/Hour)

I personally love supermarkets, so much where if I want to go for a walk, its always to the supermarket. If you are like me, you would probably enjoy delivering groceries with apps like Instacart or Shipt. Similar to Uber Eats, you will deliver food to clients who request through the app. The larger the haul, the more money you can make for each trip. 

Keep in mind, groceries take up way more space sometimes, especially if its for a family. To thrive in this type of hustle, I would highly suggest you already have a vehicle that can hold a decent amount of groceries. Motorcycles or bicycles are heavily discouraged, as you may not be able to complete requests.

A trick here, is if you do have a motorcycle, and still want to deliver groceries, you could easily use your Uber Eats pack to carry smaller deliveries and still earn decently. 

Deliver Quick Warehouse-Based Packages with GoPuff ($14-$20/Hour)
