Withdrawing to Venmo can be done in just a few simple steps.
- Head to the Cashout page
- Select Venmo
- Choose the amount
- Enter your Venmo email/phone & check the tick boxes
- Press the green 'Withdraw' button
- Wait for the emails from Tango and Venmo
If this is your first withdrawal on Freecash you will need to go through the verification process. You will be prompted to do this when you press the 'Withdraw' button.
Head to the Cashout page
You can find the Cashout page at any time by selecting your current account funds, which are shown in the top-right corner on desktop and at the top of the page on mobile.
Select Venmo
Choose Venmo from the withdrawal options available on the Cashout page. It will usually appear within the 'Most Popular' section alongside other common payout methods.
Choose the amount
Venmo withdrawals are available from $5. Simply select the amount you want to withdraw.
Note, the 5% withdrawal fee remains the same for all amounts.
Enter your Venmo details & check the tick boxes
Below the withdrawal amounts, you will find a text field to enter the email or phone number linked to your Venmo account (this does not need to match your Freecash email).
You will also need to tick the confirmation boxes stating that your Venmo account can receive payments and that you understand the order is non-refundable.
Press the green 'Withdraw' button
To finalize the withdrawal, press the green 'Withdraw' button'.
If your account has not been verified yet, you will be redirected to complete verification. You will need a form of government-issued ID and a working camera to complete the process.
Wait for the emails from Tango and Venmo
You will receive two emails—one from Tango (our payment processor), and one from Venmo.
Tango's email
The first email, sent from [email protected], is simply a confirmation that your withdrawal has been processed on their end.
Venmo's email
The second email will come from Venmo, prompting you to claim your funds.
