Although this is not really a completely free method, as you'll need to have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, we still decided to include this method because you can get it for only $1 (first month only).
To get these exclusive items, open the Xbox on your PC and head to Perks to input your code. For the Halo Infinite console version, simply open the Xbox app and navigate to the Perks option where you'll be able to redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate exclusive rewards.
Every new season of Halo Infinite brings a wide variety of events in multiplayer mode, and completing them will earn you a good deal of items. Each daily or weekly challenge will grant a certain amount of experience points, and with enough of them, you'll be able to get the special event items in the game.
You can view your current progress in the Challenges option found in the main menu.
Not many players know that they can also get free Halo Infinite skins and other stuff through the single-player campaign mode by opening the Mjolnir Armory cases. While some of the Mjolnir Armory cases are hard to miss, some can be quite challenging to reach. Still, considering this is an opportunity no one shouldn't miss, it's absolutely worth trying to obtain these skins using this method.
These small lockers have a yellow light on their top, with the logo of UNSC in the hologram.
Similarly, like many other multiplayer games, Twitch has rewards for the dedicated stream viewers of Halo Infinite streams. These rewards come in the form of skins and other in-game items and are exclusive to Twitch users. Simply link your Twitch and Halo Waypoint accounts and you'll automatically become eligible to get Twitch drops.
But there’s a catch: Only those streams with the “Drops Enabled” option can grant you some items, so make sure to watch those streamers.

Halo Infinite items (otherwise known as coatings) are the game's main customization element, which allows altering weapons, armor, and vehicles with various skins. Skins include all kinds of designs, colors, decorations, and prints, and they are permanently applied to the specific weapon, armor, or vehicle, even if the altered item is not used by the player owning that skin. These items have one thing in common: rarity, which differentiates in colors - gray, blue, purple, and gold.
